I was going to write tonight about privacy and how it’s been effected by the post-9/11 decisions, hence the constant attack on civil liberties of Americans by Americans.
While I was doing my rounds however, I ran across this. Excerpt below.
The sad fact is VJ Day (sic; Author means Pearl Harbor Day, corrected here), rightly or wrongly, had about as much bearing on our daily lives as what our neighbors had for breakfast that morning. That is to say that it seemed to have none at all.
