Podcast?
July 11, 2006 – 12:22 amSo here is a question to pose; would anybody here listen to a podcast if I were to make one? Someone I know in Europe told me I should, and you all know that I do whatever anyone tells me. So yea. Thoughts?
(A podcast is basically a voiced blog about whatever. Load it up in iTunes, and every time I post a new one, it’ll automagically be downloaded to your computer to be listened to at your convenience. Anything I do would probably be tech/personal/real life related. Wouldn’t replace Ted, but be an addition to it.)

I keep getting excited about podcasts – they’re hip, trendy and all the cool kids are doing them. In reality (and this is just me) I don’t really have the right mental headspace for them.
When I’m sitting down I’m working and I try very hard to block out distractions. Podcasts are information and entertaining – I’m either stoping to takes notes or paying more attention to the funny man on my computer than whatever it is I’m supposed to be focusing on.
If I had a job where I was spending a great deal of time in transit I’d be tempted.
