History Geek
August 30, 2005 – 12:12 amOk, so I’m a history geek. I think it’s official. Since all the money I saved on books was going to go to something silly like food or something, I decided to make a different purchase.
The Teaching Company has really good stuff. I couldn’t resist this. So I paid $225 (shipping) for educational DVD’s that have no bearing on any of my classes here. So what. I’m a history geek, and damn proud of it!
They came today. I watched the first lecture. Twas excellent.

The following list includes lectures given by George L. Mosse in the Fall of 1982. The topic of these lectures is European Cultural History 1660-1870. They were recorded for the WHA -Radio Series, “University of the Air.”
