Ten things a single guy must have…
August 14, 2005 – 2:26 pmSo I was hanging out with Jane this morning and she showed me this list of 10 Things A Single Guy Must Own. I thought it was absolutely hi-larious that I actually own, or have in my posession, more than half of the things on here. Things I don’t have and don’t plan on getting though:
A top-notch coffee/espresso maker:
I will not pay $250 for a espresso maker and grinder. I WILL buy coffee from Gevalia though and get the free coffeemaker they send you. (Yes, they have good coffee.)
$150+ jeans:
I will also not pay $150 for pants. I may go to the sale rack at Target and get a look-alike pair for $20, but that’s the extent of it.
$200+ dress shoes:
Alright, what’s with all the expensive crap?! Again, not going to pay that much for shoes. I’ll find a pair for $70-100 that will last a long time. So what it’s not brand name, quality can still exist without it.
Funny enough, they also have a list for gals here. Now this I think is wayyy off the rocker. There are only two things on this list that I’d say a girl should have, and one is a maybe. Can you guess what they are?

OK, she should own some nice beer and have a straight male friend for advice. But, the pick up/blow off line is a maybe. The rest are BS, especially the condom. But I’m a Catholic, so my mother was right, I am a prude.

first off, are you counting your satin boxers as your nice underwear
on the girls list, having a pretty picture of myself would mean getting in front of a camera… not gonna happen. and there is no fucking way i would ever own an eminem cd. maybe a few songs, but not a cd. and if the guy i brought home was impressed if i did have one, thats not the type of guy i would want to bring home.
